Vanakkam Everyone, Sastha Tamil Foundation thanks all its patrons & well wishers for their contributions towards Chennai flood relief.

• A truck load of items were arranged from Trichy (within a day of request from Udavum Karangal) mainly items like Medicines, rice, dhal, sugar, oil, bedspreads, pillows, dettol, bleach, etc.
• Relief supplies were distributed to around 2000 needy families on behalf of STF, by Udavum Karangal (identified by a survey conducted by its community workers) in and around Thiruverkadu.
• Blankets, towels, milk powder for babies, medicines in general for babies & adults, preventative Siddha medicines and sanitary napkins were provided to the flood victims in North Chennai & Cuddalore.
• Drinking water & preventative medicines were provided to over 100 families in Pallikaranai, Madipakkam & a village in Cuddalore.
• Bedspreads, sleeping mats, mosquito coils and toiletries were distributed to needy people around Saidapet area, Chennai.
